Gina Musser.....
During the 1980's Gina Musser worked as a costume designer for the Performing Arts, it was during that time when she met Ed Mock. Mock was visiting Portland, Oregon where Musser had been living. They hit it off immediately. The relationship grew as soon as they discoverd each other's tendency to work in a free-form, experimental style. Musser was experimenting with plastics and other odd costume materials, Mock was doing improvisational, theater/dance. The Ed Mock Dance Company and Musser were soon collaborating. Eventually, Musser was hired by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland Oregon. Mock's response was "You know, Gina, they are not going to appreciate you the way I do." Musser was on her last Ashland production when she decided to call Ed and tell him she was coming back. It had been over a year since their last conversation. He had not told her of his illness. She made that call on the day he died.
